Kenny Chesney And Jason Aldean Score At CenturyLink | Concert Review

Music hitmakers Country Jason Aldean and Kenny Chesney got co-billing CenturyLink Field Saturday, June 27, but more than 40,000 fans at the show were clearly difficult driving there to Chesney.

Concert Review:

Halfway through two hour marathon of Kenny Chesney Saturday (June 27) at CenturyLink Field, one of his fans he stumbled on an empty seat beside me and bowed.

"Jason [Aldean] and Kenny could be co-headliners, but we all know that the real headliner is," he said in a conspiratorial whisper, as we got into Chesney's 2005 hit "Living in Fast Forward". And it was true. Aldean did a good job as a whole 90 minutes, but do not fill the stadium and really come alive until Chesney took the stage.

One of the most consistent hitmakers country music of the past 20 years, began with an unexpected flash, flying over the crowd in a chair suspended by wires while singing "Drink It Up," a new hit album "Big Revival "2014 was one of the few moments of excess Chesney assembly, which was based on the musical strength of singles like" Summertime "," Crossbones "and his signature hit" No shirt, no shoes, no problems "to impress the crowd of over 40,000.

There were some moments of tranquility - "You and Tequila" for example - but Chesney soon had his band start in the American satisfaction "young" before obtaining a mass of jubilant fans dancing in the aisles to "went out last night.”

Aldean knows a thing or two about making hits as well, and as a whole suffered through a slow middle section overstuffed with ballads, ended on a strong note.

"When she says Baby" showed what a well-oiled machine is Aldean band and said how good it is to choose songs that can fill an arena or stadium. "Take a little walk (Night Train)" and his new single "Burning It Down" gave fans a couple megahits get mad about.

Some revelers took too far. And although it was nothing like the scene of alcohol as fuel at Lambeau Field in Green Bay last week, a lot of people were escorted out, some by police.

As Aldean promised in his interview with The Seattle Times, he joined Chesney for an encore that included a pair of covers -. "Summer of '69" "Hurts So Good" and when the couple changed the lyrics hit Bryan Adams' " "Those were the best days of my life" "It was the best night of my life", he could not stop thinking about everyone in the Clink he felt the same way.
